Anantnag, November 19: A 45-year-old man lost his life after being struck by a tipper in the Omoh Verinag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday morning.
According to officials, the accident occurred early in the morning, leading to the man’s instant death at the scene. The driver of the tipper fled from the spot following the incident. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shafi Khan, son of Mohammad Yaqoob Khan, a resident of Omoh Verinag.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
