Srinagar, Oct 08: Amid the vote counting, former Lok Sabha MP and chief of Jammu and Kashmir Congress, Tariq Hameed Karra Tuesday said that people of Kashmir have answered the “hate politics of BJP by voting against them.”

Speaking to the reporters here at SKICC outside the vote counting station, Karra said, “The people here are aware about the atrocities committed by the BJP in past more than five years by voting against them.”

As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) Karra further said, “As of now, nothing can be said and decided regarding the taking other political parties on board in forming the government. We will like to have an inclusive government.”

“Anyone who is on the same page to keep BJP out of the power corridors and will be of the same ideology of Congress are welcome,” he said.

Pertinently, Karra won Central Shalteng Constituency seat with 14395 votes.

Besides Karrra, five other INC leaders won from Jammu and Kashmir in assembly elections that took place after a gap of ten years.
