Srinagar 11 Oct : BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Friday said that the holy space of the Legislative Assembly should be used only for the public interest.
As per the news agency CNS, Tarun Chugh while obliquely referring to the newly elected MLAs said that the Legislative Assembly should be used for the welfare of the people not for any futile things.
He also said that statehood could only be restored by the centre and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself had spoken on it in the Lok Sabha.
“Rather than wasting the efforts, work should be done for the development of J&K,” Chugh added.
He also alleged that on the pretext of victory marches, revenge is being taken by pelting stones on houses of political leaders.
