Tral, Dec 4: A Territorial Army (TA) soldier was injured after being shot by militants in the Sofigund Aripal area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday evening.
A police official confirmed to the news agency that militants targeted the soldier outside his residence in Sofigund Aripal. The injured soldier, identified as Delhair Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi of Sofigund Khanagund, sustained a gunshot wound and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
