Srinagar, December 11 (TKA) : Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari took over as the Joint Director Information Kashmir on Wednesday.
The new appointee was warmly welcomed by Deputy Director Information and PR, Ahsan ul Haq Chishti, Cultural Officer Burhan Hussain, and other senior officials, who congratulated him on assuming the position.
After taking charge, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari held an introductory meeting with officers and staff from various units of the department.
He also reviewed the functioning of the department and took a comprehensive appraisal of its operations. In his address, the Joint Director highlighted the importance of teamwork and urged the staff to work collectively to improve the department’s outreach and operational efficiency.
He stressed the need for a collaborative approach to meet the department’s objectives effectively. The officers and staff assured their full support and expressed their commitment to strengthening the department’s impact under his leadership.
