Asif Memorial Health Care Handwara Announces Free Medical Tests and Reduced Fees for Students

Handwara, December 30, 2024 (TKA) : The Asif Memorial health care and Asif Memorial Paramedical and Vocational Training Institute held a press conference today in Handwara to launch its New Year calendar, marking a significant milestone in its mission to promote skill-based education in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr. Kousar Bakshi, the Managing Director, addressed the audience, reflecting on the institute’s achievements and future plans. He emphasized the institute’s dedication to bridging the gap between education and employability.

“Our Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) programs in Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiology, Hotel management , Mass communication, computer Applications and Fashion designing are designed to provide students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for success in the healthcare sector,” Dr. Bakshi stated. “This calendar represents our ongoing progress and commitment to equipping the youth with career-oriented education.”

The event attracted educators, students, and community members who praised the institute’s contributions to vocational and paramedical education in the region. Attendees appreciated its role in fostering growth and preparing students for fulfilling careers in healthcare and related fields.

During the press conference, Dr. Bakshi also announced several new initiatives for 2025. These include free sugar tests for diabetes patients, free tests for cancer and kidney failure patients, and reduced fees for disadvantaged students pursuing degree and diploma programs.
