Srinagar, Jan 30 (TKA): The crescent moon for the month of Shabaan has been seen, and the first day of Shabaan will be on 31st January.

Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Nasir-ur-Islam, confirmed the sighting of the crescent and announced that 1st Shabaan will be on January 31st. He mentioned that they received reports from witnesses confirming the sighting.

Shab-e-Baraat, a special night for Muslims, is a time for prayer, asking for forgiveness, and thinking about one’s actions.
