Rajouri, February 06 (TKA): Authorities in Rajouri district have collected 529 samples of insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers as part of an ongoing investigation linked to Badhaal village.
Teams formed by Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma identified 257 shops for sampling, including 60 selling insecticides, pesticides, and herbicides, and 194 selling fertilizers. Samples were collected from 254 of these shops.
Officials gathered 293 samples of insecticides, pesticides, and herbicides, along with 236 fertilizer samples. These will be tested, and the results could be crucial for the investigation.
The drive was carried out by the Executive Magistrate, Police, Health, and Agriculture Departments under the supervision of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa.
