Pulwama, December 03 (TKA) :To mark the ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities,’ the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Pulwama, in collaboration with the District Social Welfare Office, organized a cricket match at the Sports Stadium Pulwama.
The initiative was carried out in line with directives from the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority. The event was presided over by Naseer Ahmad Dar, Chairman of DLSA Pulwama (Principal District and Sessions Judge), and supervised by Secretary DLSA Pulwama, Mudasar Farooq.
Addressing the participants, Secretary DLSA highlighted the importance of the day and formally inaugurated the cricket match, which was played by specially-abled individuals. In his concluding address, Secretary DLSA reaffirmed the office’s dedication to extending necessary support and assistance to people with disabilities.
Additionally, a Panel Lawyer of DLSA Pulwama provided valuable insights into the significance of the day. The programme was attended by officials from the Sports Department Pulwama, the Chairman of the Handicapped Association Pulwama, staff members, and Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) of DLSA.___TKA
