Srinagar, Nov 28: The Roads and Buildings Department in Jammu and Kashmir has suspended Mubarak Ahmad Ganaie, serving as Incharge Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), after he was taken into custody by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
The suspension, ordered by Commissioner Secretary Bhupinder Singh, has been applied retroactively from October 16, 2024, under Rule 31(2) of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1956.
During the suspension period, Ganaie will remain attached to the office of the Chief Engineer, Public Works Department, North Kashmir. The suspension will continue until the investigation concludes and further instructions are issued. ___ CNS
