A road to reviving the older traditions of Kashmir, a group of four well educated and cultural enthusiasts takes a step towards reviving the older traditions of Kashmir by setting up horse driven cart alongside famous foreshore,Srinagar , revealing the scope of kashmir’s rich cultural heritage in earning a livelihood while providing it to others as well. Umar, the exponent of this versatile and bright idea himself is a well educated person with an unwavering zeal and passion. The other 3 of his companions in this journey have also completed their post graduation and have an equal contribution in this work and are working tirelessly to take it to the skies.


These youngsters AKA Royal Riders aspires to take this journey upto the end and prove to others that there lies opportunity in each and every thing ; but the only thing required to catch these opportunities lies in their own will and determination. While setting up this new and unique thing, they were gripped by the fear of failure and society but their optimistic attitude gave a death blow to all these negative energies and they continued on with their journey.
And In this journey of their life ,govt stood by their side at each juncture; be it in the form of loan sanctioned to them which was not accessible to the UT residents or the efforts of traffic and police department to make their way easy and comfortable.


Royal Riders as they named their caravan is now the news of town; receiving love and support from the gen Z’s as well as millennials, breaking the orthodox view that a person can earn well only through a job mostly govt. Job but they made it clear to the people around them that if a person is willing to do something, the nature itself unravels the hidden opportunities.
This horse driven carriage is becoming a favourite adventure for tourists as well as locals.

As Kashmir has been hub of tourism for its nature and landscapes, this horse driven cart adds on to the cultural traditions of Kashmir, driving the tourists towards it because of its cultural significance and its novelty in decoration and aesthetics . They are also putting their sincere efforts to make this jouney the most loved and memorable one as they are also planning to make this ride available for weddings also as a step towards the expansion of their set up and instilling the love for kashmir’s age old culture and heritage .


Kashmir has always been a culturally vibrant place and the horse cart ride was one of the most beautiful things to experience but with time the technology grew more rapidly and these carts were replaced by high tech cars and other vehicles . But the Royal Riders revived it once ever again in a way and at a time when everyone would actually be inclined towards it so naturally and beautifully that it would be like an accord for them to take this significant step and at the same time they are becoming role models for the youth by giving them the hope and motivating them to listen to their hearts and do something no matter big or small but for their own happiness while being optimistic throughout the journey of ones life.
