Jammu, December 24: In a tragic incident on Tuesday, the Army reported the loss of five soldiers and injuries to several others in a road accident near the Ghoda forward post in Poonch district.
The Army’s White Knight Corps shared their condolences on the micro-blogging platform X, stating, “All ranks of WhiteKnightCorps extend their deepest condolences on the tragic loss of five brave soldiers in a vehicle accident during operational duty in the Poonch sector.”
Rescue operations are currently in progress, and the injured soldiers are receiving medical treatment, according to the post.
