Srinagar, Nov 25 (TKA): On the opening day of the IPL 2025 auction, two players from Jammu and Kashmir were successfully picked by teams. Rasikh Salam from Kulgam was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for an impressive Rs 6 crore.
According to TKA, 14 players from Jammu and Kashmir are participating in the 2025 IPL auction. Rasikh Salam, a pacer from Kulgam, was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for Rs 6 crore.
Rasikh, who has previously played for Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Delhi Capitals, entered the 2025 IPL auction with a base price of Rs 30 lakh.
Rasikh Salam Dar, hailing from Bhan Ashmuji in Kulgam, will be participating in the IPL for the fourth time.
Abdul Samad, an all-rounder from Jammu who was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad for three years, has been bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 4.2 crore.
The fate of the remaining 12 players from J&K will be decided today. These players include Atif Mushtaq (bowler), Avinash Singh (bowler), Nasir Lone (all-rounder), Mujtaba Yousuf (bowler), Abid Mushtaq (all-rounder), Vivrant Sharma (all-rounder), Shubham Khajuria (batsman), Musaif Ajaz, Kunal Chibb (bowler), Yudhveer Singh (all-rounder), and Aquib Nabi (all-rounder).
