Srinagar, December 2: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has applauded the tourism sector stakeholders of Jammu and Kashmir for introducing Uber Shikara services in Srinagar.
This innovative service, launched just in time for the upcoming tourist season, aims to enhance the iconic Shikara ride experience by integrating modern technology with the region’s rich cultural heritage.
In a statement on social media platform X, the Lieutenant Governor described the Uber Shikara initiative as a symbol of how technology can preserve and promote traditional cultural values.
