November 24: In a significant operation, Handwara Police, in collaboration with security forces, have uncovered a terrorist hideout in the Mughalpora Kremhora forest area, seizing a substantial amount of ammunition and explosives.
Based on precise intelligence, the Police, along with the Army’s 15 Rashtriya Rifles and the 92nd Battalion of the CRPF, conducted a thorough search operation in the Mughalpora Kremhora forest, under the jurisdiction of Police Post Zachaldara. During this operation, a terrorist hideout was discovered, leading to the recovery of a large cache of explosives and ammunition, including 10 grenades. The seized items have been secured for further investigation and legal action.
This timely intervention has significantly disrupted the activities of terrorists in the region, averting potential threats to peace and security.
