Baramulla, Jan 22 : Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A Police party of Police Station Boniyar headed by SHO PS Boniyar at a checkpoint established at Chak Limber, Boniyar intercepted one person who was identified as Gh Nabi Dar son of Late Mohd Subhan resident of Babagail Limber.
During search, 50 grams of contraband charas like substances was recovered from his possession. He has been arrested.Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Biniyar and investigation has been initiated.
