Anantnag, January 7, 2025 (TKA) : In a significant move against drug trafficking and its financial operations, the Anantnag Police have attached a double-storey residential house owned by Khurshid Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Gani Dar, from Satkipora. The property, covering 1 Kanal of land and estimated to be worth ₹1 crore, was seized under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act. The house is allegedly tied to proceeds from drug-related activities.
The case is linked to FIR No. 47/2019 registered at Police Station Srigufwara, where substantial amounts of contraband were recovered.
This action highlights the unwavering efforts of Anantnag Police to curb the drug menace and disrupt the financial systems supporting illegal narcotics operations. It also aims to discourage criminal networks and safeguard the community from the dangers of drug abuse.
