With the Election Commission of India signaling the possibility of upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, political activity is gaining momentum in South Kashmir’s Shopian district. Today, Advocate Gowher hussain, a senior leader of JKAP, held a meeting with party workers at Imamsahb in the Zainpora constituency of Shopian. He urged the attendees to work diligently to spread the party’s manifesto to every household in Jammu and Kashmir. Advocate Gowher hussain emphasized that JKAP has consistently been a party that refrains from misleading the public, refuses to protect those accused of corruption, and opposes the opportunistic policies that have been adopted by other political parties in the past.
The program was organized by Nasrulla Koka, General Secretary of the Pesticides Association, and was attended by several JKAP leaders, including Zonal President Zainpora Mohd Aslam Naik, Zonal Secretaries Azhar Wani and Ishtiya Malik, Office Secretary Mushtaq Ah Thokar, Block President Mushtaq Ah, and senior party workers Mohd Yaqoob Malla and Irfan Bhat.
This gathering is part of JKAP’s broader efforts to mobilize support and strengthen its position in anticipation of the forthcoming elections.
