Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan reached the milestone of 3000 runs in T20I cricket in the second match of T20I series against New Zealand. Rizwan became the second batter from Pakistan to achieve this feat after captain Babar Azam. Spearhead of the Pakistan bowling attack – Shaheen Shah Afridi lauded Rizwan via a social media post and compared the batter with legendary Don Bradman.
Shaheen wrote on Twitter that Rizwan was the Bradman of T20I cricket and congratulated him for his milestone. Rizwan incidentally has the lowest strike-rate among batters to have reached the feat of 3000 T20I runs – 127.42. This is marginally worse than his compatriot Babar Azam, who has the second worst strike rate – 129.
