The Borrowers who’s accounts has been Downgraded By the circumstances beyond their control.

We all are Much aware before covid 19 pandemic and after covid 19 situations where each every sector got badly impacted. And their where many chances of handholding of them but unfortunately they where kept aside of that handholding. Resulting their comeback was totally impossible afterwards.

We have always kept our stand crystal clear that in kashmir their are no willfull defaulters those accounts which are in defaulters list today before 2019 they where being prestigious clients to jkbank.

We don’t advocate any willfull defaulters they must be punished and Harsh steps should be taken Against such person.if they have diverted banks funds.BUT affected persons should be restrained from harsh recovery measures if thier suffering are genuine on humanitarian basis.

We have always highlighted this issue with the bank officials By meeting them or By print Media, social Media And By our press conferences. kindly announce OTS (one time special scheme) with the cap of Rs 50cr with the minimum Repayment period of Two years so that every borrower should get benefited with that workable scheme without any collateral Riders.we have a mission always to make our shahre khass area zero NPA zone.

But jkbank Rather providing any OTS(one time settlement scheme) they are Sealing the Residential houses and throw family members on streets without having iota of sympathies.

It’s all happening from the office of General manager jkbank and his Recovery team and now they have hired so called some Trade leaders.
They have Became their Brokers asking Business persons which are already finished to pay thier debts. Demanding hefty amount Rs 10 lakhs,Rs 15 lakhs to settle there accounts as Bribe.

We as Traders fraternity will not let this Happen. we once again put our Demand and query but at the same time Ask jkbank to Restrain from such steps which will further deepens the Gap between Bank and general public.

We have Govt of the day with Us today let’s take this matter with them and wait for the Results.
What will be the outcome till that don’t take any steps of sealing any properties of any Business entity.

We are hopefull the state Govt will intervene and settle down this long pending issue of Business fraternity once for All.

It’s was concluded By our worthy president imtiyaz Ahmad Malik in A press statement today.

With Highest regards,
Shahre khass Traders and Manufacturers
coordination committee and federations team.
