Srinagar, Jun 20 : Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Thursday showered praises on the Prime Minister Narendera Modi stating that it was due to Modi’s leadership that J & K youth replaced stones with the innovative tools.

Addressing the gathering of young start-ups and youngsters at SKICC here, LG Sinha as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that he was glad to have the world’s most loved leader in Srinagar. “I welcome Modiji by heart and congratulate him for becoming the PM of India for the third consecutive time. The mandate he has got is unique. It is after 60 years, that people of India have elected a government for the third straight time,” Sinha said and congratulated PM Modi for his feat.

Sinha said that only three months ago, PM Modi inaugurated developmental projects worth Rs 39000 Crore in Srinagar. “Due to the efforts of PM Modi, Kashmiri youth have replaced stones with the tools of innovations,” he said.

The J&K LG said that there is no stone pelting taking place in Kashmir now and hartals are a history. “Schools, Colleges and Universities remain open throughout the year and youth are chasing their dreams with zeal in the fields of sports, business and innovations.
