Weather Forecast for Kashmir: December 21-27

Srinagar, December 21, 2024 – The Kashmir region is set to experience a mix of weather conditions over the next week, influenced by a fresh weak Western Disturbance and subsequent atmospheric changes.

December 21: A weak Western Disturbance is expected to affect Jammu and Kashmir from the afternoon. This will result in predominantly cloudy weather, with an improvement in night temperatures anticipated.

December 22: Mostly cloudy skies will persist. There is a possibility of a short minor snow spell in a few higher reaches. Night temperatures are expected to improve further.

December 23: The weather will be partly to mostly cloudy. A few areas might experience a minor rain or snow spell, with a 25% chance of precipitation. A drop in night temperatures is expected.

December 24-27: Dry weather is forecasted for this period. However, a severe fall in night temperatures is anticipated, leading to colder nights across the region.

Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and take necessary precautions during the colder nights.
